Three stages, two ways in

An owner with no adviser starts at the beginning. An adviser with a client of their own starts at the end.

Which one are you?

Thinking about selling, and not sure where to start?

Start with your numbers. Free, no sign-up, about ten minutes.

You start at stage one — Get ready. You can stop there. Some owners never sell at all.

What an owner does first

Running a sale for a client?

Bring your own clients, or meet owners who have already done the work. Unlimited deals on every plan.

You start at stage three — Go to market. The first two are for owners who arrive without you.

For advisers

One road, three stages

  1. I own a business — start here

    Get ready

Find out what a buyer will ask about your numbers, then fix what you can before anyone asks it.

Free to check, £495 (no VAT) for the report

    The limits of Get ready

Nothing here commits you to a sale. The record you build keeps, and it is still yours if you decide to stay.

It does not tell you what your business is worth. It tells you what a buyer will ask about the numbers you have, which is the part you can still do something about.

  2. Find an adviser

With a report done, you can let advisers see an anonymous profile. They ask to talk to you. You choose, and you are free to choose nobody.

    Free to the owner

The limits of Find an adviser

Visibility is yours to switch on. Until you do, no adviser knows you exist.

teasr does not recommend advisers or act for either side. You decide whether advisers can see your profile, and you decide who you talk to.

  3. I advise on deals — start here

    Go to market

The teasr, the memorandum, the checked figures and the room with the buyers in it. Free to the owner, covered by the adviser’s plan.

    The data room

Adviser plans from £1,950 a year (no VAT)

The limits of Go to market

An adviser bringing their own client starts here. Everything below happens under the firm’s name, not ours.

What the adviser runs

Seven steps, from the first intake question to the closing record. The firm runs the transaction; teasr is the software it runs on.
  1. Intake

    What happens at Intake

An advisory firm opens a deal in its own workspace and captures the business through structured intake. Unlimited deals on every plan, and no charge for opening one.

    Seller
You answer once, at your own pace, and nothing is published yet.
    Adviser
Open the deal in your firm’s own workspace, as many as you like.
    Buyer
Nothing yet — the business is not on the market.
  2. Preparation

    What happens at Preparation

teasr AI drafts a teasr and an information memorandum from that intake. Both are read and approved by a person, and issued under the firm’s own name. Neither carries a charge of its own, however long preparation takes.

    Seller
You approve both documents before anyone outside the firm sees them.
    Adviser
The drafting hours come off your desk, and the documents are included.
    Buyer
What you eventually read is drafted from one reconciled record.
  3. Verified file

    What happens at Verified file

Every figure is cross-checked against every other, and the add-backs are bridged. A file that does not reconcile stops here, and nothing is issued until the line that failed has been answered.

teasr checks that the numbers in a file agree with each other. It does not audit the accounts, value the business, or give an opinion on either.

    Seller
The questions a buyer would raise are settled before they raise them.
    Adviser
A file that does not reconcile is evidence a seller is not ready yet.
    Buyer
The figures you are shown have been checked against each other.
  4. Taken to market

What happens at Taken to market

The firm sends the teasr to the buyers it has chosen, in the order it chooses. The business is not named on it. Taking a deal out is included on every plan.

    Seller
Still anonymous, and you decide who is approached.
    Adviser
Your buyers, your order, your firm’s name on the document.
    Buyer
You see the teasr, not the company name.

teasr is not in this conversation.

The firm chooses the buyers, makes the approach and advises its client. The platform carries the paperwork; it never advises, never negotiates on your behalf, and never executes.

  1. NDA

    What happens at NDA

Verified buyers accept confidentiality undertakings before they see anything further. Both sides work through the NDA on the platform — one document, redlines against it, every version kept, the executed copy locked to the deal — and the firm decides, buyer by buyer, who receives the full memorandum. Every release is logged, and watermarked once the data room is live.

    Seller
Signed before anything identifying you leaves the platform.
    Adviser
Redlines in one place instead of an attachment chain.
    Buyer
One document, and you can see what changed.
  2. Diligence

    What happens at Diligence

The room opens with watermarked documents, an audit log and buyer Q&A. Requests, releases and answers are all recorded, and the owner and their accountant work in the deal with you.

    Seller
You decide what is released, and to whom.
    Adviser
Requests and releases on one screen with your client.
    Buyer
Ask against a list, and see what is outstanding.
  3. Outcome

    What happens at Outcome

The firm negotiates, runs the process and closes the deal — or withdraws it — and the disclosure record closes with it. Nothing is charged on completion, whichever way it goes.

    Seller
A record of what was disclosed, and to whom.
    Adviser
Nothing is charged here, whichever way the deal goes.
    Buyer
What you were given stays yours.
  • To open and prepare a deal
No time limit on preparation, and no limit on how many deals.
    Included
  • An adviser plan
5 plans, unlimited deals on every one. Paying for the year upfront is two months free.
From £1,950 a year, no VAT
  • Before you pick one
No card. Run one sale you’ve already completed through teasr and see what comes out. Pick a plan when you want to certify a live deal.
    30 days

Every invoice shows each deal’s share of the plan, so you can rebill it to the client as a disbursement. No fee teasr charges depends on a deal completing.

Three sides, three different failures

  1. Owners

No way to get ready without hiring someone

Advisers retained month after month, before any deal. So many owners go to market unprepared.

  2. Advisers

    Days lost to low-margin drafting

Drafting one-pagers and financial write-ups delays what advisers are paid for: the negotiation, the structuring, the close.

  3. Buyers

Deal flow that is gone before it surfaces

PE funds, search funds and strategics find much of what fits them already sold.
